From December 2 to 6, 2024, the 29th Asia and Pacific SEED CONGRESS (APSA SEED CONGRESS) was held at the Red Forest Resort World Congress Center in Sanya, Hainan, China. As the most influential event in the seed industry in the Asia-Pacific region, the conference brings together seed experts, international organization officials and seed companies from the Asia-Pacific, Europe, the United States and Africa and other regions, and has a wide range of cohesion and influence in the international industry.
Dr. Ruiqing Huang of Ruixue Global, as the former president of the Asia Pacific Seed Association, was invited to attend this event. The Asia Pacific Seed Association was established in 1994 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the Danish International Development Agency, with more than 600 member units from 60 countries and regions, including national seed associations, government seed departments, seed companies, etc., and has now developed into the world's largest regional seed association with far-reaching influence.

In the end, Dr. Huang led the Executive Committee to make overall planning and overcome a series of difficulties, and the conference was successfully held in Pattaya, Thailand, in 2012. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand attended the conference on behalf of the royal family, and the conference was successfully held and won widespread praise.
